Tracking down the problem
We attended the client’s site to investigate an issue regarding hot water in their facility. The site manager explained the problem and carried out testing to determine whether the fault was with the thermostatic mixing valve or the hot water unit. Testing confirmed that the hot water unit was producing hot water correctly, however the hot water flow to the bathroom was restricted, indicating a faulty thermostatic mixing valve.
Repairing the valve
We returned to site after required replacement part was collected.
