Lighting up the property
Our client requested that we inspect and repair several appliances within their commercial property. They pointed out that the power point in the living area was loose and kept coming off the wall. The heat globe in the main bathroom needed replacing as well. They also added that we should check the entire house for any other faulty lights that may have needed replacing.
Heat Globe Swapping
Our first course of action was locating the heat lamp thanks to one of the workers on site. After we located it, we got to work.
- Bathroom's heat lamp was swapped out.
- However, there was another out in the same bathroom.
- We replaced the one above the shower as iy would be needed more than the one over the entrance.
Powerpoint Repair
After taking care of the heat globes in the bathroom, we decided to take on the powerpoint in the living area. It seemed to be a health risk as it was found half-hanging off the wall. The powerpoint bracket behind the plaster was damaged and had a stripped bolt hole.
- Powerpoint was fully removed.
- Checked voltage and polarity.
- Drilled out the failed bolt hole and installed a larger self-tapping screw to secure the GPO to the wall.
- Powerpoint was left solid and secure.
Functional and flourishing
As requested, we went through and checked each of the lighint points. Checked the unit, multi bed main area, garage and all external lighting. All was in working order. We left the property with everything the client needed taken care of.
